Sept. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Target Corp. and two other companies were sued by a mother who owns a Chinese-made crib that was among 1 million recalled following the deaths of three children.
The complaint, filed yesterday in federal court in Minneapolis by Amber Spitzer, seeks a court order forcing the companies to contact all owners of the defective cribs and replace them. Spitzer purchased her crib at a Target store last year, according to the lawsuit, which seeks to represent other crib owners.
The case is Spitzer v. Target Corp. 07-4070, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota (Minneapolis).
